The tubes of the DA6 are made from stainless steel so if you have accidentally made small scratches on the surface, they can be polished away using the appropriate tools. Whilst the tubes on the black DA6 are also made from stainless steel, they are powder coated so any repair would require a similar painting process and colour matching. Care should be taken not to damage the top and bottom panels when doing this as they are made from aluminium and feature an anodised surface that is less resilient than the steel tubes.
