Happy Earth Day

Regardless of which side you take in the climate change debate, one fact remains indisputable, our consumption of natural resources exceeds the rate at which they can be replenished. Last year, Earth Overshoot Day arrived on July 28th, indicating that we consumed more resources than we could replace for the rest of the year. As fans of science and technology, we are naturally inclined to think that advances in these fields will resolve many of the current issues but the stakes are high, so it is crucial we take a proactive approach now to mitigate a negative outcome.

In 2021, we pledged to donate a portion of proceeds from the sale of specific products to support reforestation efforts and reduce our environmental impact. As we mark Earth Day this year, we’re celebrating our partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects to support large-scale forest restoration. Their approach involves working closely with local communities to offer sustainable livelihood options and promote natural resource protection. We are proud to be a part of this effort and believe that it is essential for all of us to take steps towards creating a more sustainable future for our planet.
