Unpacking the SG10
Hopefully you have received the SG10 box in good condition, but if not, please make sure to catalogue any signs of damage before opening the packaging.
The SG10 is no small case, its large and weights over 20kg without any components installed, so we have designed the box and removal process with this in mind.

Ensure the box is upright (correct orientation) then begin by cutting ONE SIDE open along the tape as indicated. Note that It doesn’t matter which side you open.

Fold open the sides of the shipping box so that you can begin to remove its contents. The first thing you will see is a slim package that contains one of the glass side panels.

Remove the glass side panel packaging. Note that there are cutouts that help handle the package. This only contains one of the glass side panels, the other one is packed identically on the other side of the box. Set this aside for later.

With the glass side panel box removed, you will see two flaps on the lower edge of the internal packaging that are marked with a label. These are holding points which should be used to pull the SG10 out of the box.

Holding the two flaps firmly, pull/slide the inner packaging out of the box until it fully clears it. The box still has the other glass side panel inside, so take that into consideration when doing this.

The inner packaging can be removed by separating the two halves from the top.

The SG10 can now be freely moved off the packaging and onto your preferred working space.

Unpacking the Glass Side Panels
Whilst you won’t need to install the glass side panels until you finish building the system, since we are covering the packaging, it’s worth showing how they are packed.

Cutting open the seals/labels and unfolding the packaging will reveal the glass under an additional layer of protective card. The glass panel is held in place by the foam frame, simply pry it away.
